Duck Rescue 2012
In early March, on the opening weekend of the Victorian Duck Shooing season, Animal Liberation ACT sent a team down to Donald, Victoria to join the Coalition Against Duck Shooting (CADS) in defending thousands of waterbirds. After the 10 hour drive from Canberra, the team hit the beautiful wetlands to protect the native ducks by flying flags and blowing whistles, keeping the birds out of the shooters' range.
