Fur
Approximately 50 million animals die every year as a result of the fur industry. Minks, foxes and rabbits are the most frequently used animals in this industry. Other animals killed for their fur include possums, wallabies, kangaroos, dogs, cats, raccoons, bears, and beavers. Many of these animals are raised in battery cages where they have no space in which to move around. They are then killed in a very ruthless manner. In some countries the animals are skinned alive. The demand for fur results in lifelong misery and cruel deaths for animals. Please boycott fur. For more information on this issue see www.alv.org.au/issues/fur.php A rabbit factory in Australia.
